Oximeter SPO 7500 report problem

Post by gailandartie » Tue Aug 09, 2011 8:38 pm

Hi,

For those of you familiar with the pulse oximeter SPO 7500, when I run reports using the vitabase software version 1.6 for SPO 7500, the reports show "activex component can't create object" in the area where illustrations occur.

What could be the problem?

Thanks,
Gail

I'm not familiar with that machine, but please post what operating system you are using. That is often a factor with this sort of error.

Vitabase 1.60 works very well on my Windows 7 64 bit computer. I would suggest uninstalling the program from the windows control panel, and then re-installing it. I downloaded my copy of Vitabase from the SPO medical website. http://www.spomedical.com/downloads/Pul ... 0_1.60.exe

Hi,
I also downloaded the software from the website. I am using windows XP.

I tried installing and uninstalling several times and each time on the install, the installer software freezes when installing pulse-ox drivers. My device connects perfectly, so I do not think those pulse ox drivers are necessary since the error is at the report level and is related to active x. If I only knew what active x component the report uses, then I could troubleshoot.

I am also using McAfee virus. I had the virus software disabled during the install.

Thans for your help.
Gail
