Question about using Forum PMs please

Post by KeithK » Fri Aug 05, 2011 8:19 am

I replied to a PM 20min ago.
The message is sitting in the outbox folder Outbox (1)
If I open the message, it says it was sent 20 min ago.
Being in the outbox, I'm guessing it hasn't been sent.
Any ideas please?

That's how the PM system works in this forum. Messages stay in the Outbox until read. So, no problem. It's just a bit disconcerting since all of us know how email systems work, which move the mail out of our outbox to note the system now has it and will deliver it.

Hope you are enjoying the forum and finding it a helpful resource.

Many thanks. I'm not on many forums but haven't seen it before.

Definitely a terrific site, I look forward to the opportunity to make a contribution

You will be surprised at how quickly you can help others. Just being able to say "I hear you and UNDERSTAND!" can make a huge difference for someone. So, definitely feel free to contribute.
