Need help with Nasal Aire II

I use a Swift FX. After using it a while, the skin where the pillows rest will get sensitive and irritated. I purchased a second mask, the Nasal Aire II, about 6 months ago. I figured that the nasal prongs would give the outside of my nose a rest. My intention was to alternate back and forth between the two. I had no trouble with the fit and feel of the NAII. But I do have a problem that has me scratching my head. The CPAP pressure is the same. But, the pressure from the Nasal Aire II seems higher, much higher. In fact, I have trouble breathing against it. My pressure setting is 10.5, which feels comfortable on the Swift FX. But the same setting on the NAII is very difficult to exhale against. I can't figure out how this can be? Does anyone have a guess or a suggestion? It isn't a little bit of difference, it is a lot of difference.
