I've been at this since sept, use swift fx, and only used a chinstrap for a few weeks when I first started. I learned to keep my mouth shut, got pressure dialed in, everything going well. AHI usually below. 2, flat leak line, sleeping well and feeling good, until last week or 2. It seems I've started mouth breathing again, actually got the chinstrap out again( sigh). Have noticed squiggly leak line, increased VS, and pressure hovering at the top of my range, even woke a few times to dry mouth . I just wanted to point out that Encore Viewer does not record this as large leak, even though I know it must be enough leak to make the rest of the data suspect. The only indices that look very wrong are VS and the squiggly leak line, the average leak number is not even that far off from the intentional mask leak. I sure hope this habit goes away soon, maybe it's just a little allergy problem with all the pollen, I can only blame one bad night on a little to much red wine
I'm not enjoying having more stuff on my face

Any landing you walk away from is a good one; if you don't break your airplane it's excellent.
Re: A little mouthbreathing
I just began xPAP 8 days ago, so I am still adjusting and learning. I also use the Swift FX and the first few nights did not have any noticeable mouth breathing. I think I was aware even in my sleep that I need to keep my mouth shut. Now as I am beginning to get used to the mask, I am waking up several times through the night with my mouth open. My leak graph shows no major leaks, but each time it appears that I have a CA event. I am wondering if the clear airway isn't really my open mouth.
I do have a chin strap on order.
