Easy first night

Post by inkblot » Thu Jul 14, 2011 1:17 pm

Thanks to all the very good advice I've read on this forum I had a perfectly easy time getting my xpap machine from my DME yesterday and a perfectly easy night sleeping with it last night: 8 hours, low (I think 3.8 ) AHI. It felt like a fairly ordinary night, and I woke up not transformed but feeling perfectly all right, which, on the scale of possible outcomes, seems pretty good to me. I know it can all change. Still, so far, so good.

So, for those of you who (like me for the past couple of months) are reading and wondering and worrying, another data point.

Whoot! Whoot! Sounds like you are goint to take this therapy like a duck to water...good for you. You may hit a few problems along the way, but just ask and you will get some good asnwers. Therapy does need to be tweeked every so often, but as long as you keep close tabs on things you will be a winner.
Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.
