New CPAP user - only second night. Feels like something stuck in my throat - do I need to increase humidification?

Which mask are you using?

If mouth is uncovered you may be mouth breathing and no amount of humidity increase will help. Now if your mask covers the mouth you might have some relief.. might not also if there is a lot of open mouth..

Most common cause of dry mouth or throat is mouth breathing.

Only if you want to mouth-breathe even more. Too much humidity can make nasal congestion worse.
Regardless of what type of mask you're using, a dry mouth/throat is a sigh of mouth-breathing.
You need to determine WHY you are mouth-breathing and WHAT to do about it.
Nasal congestion? You need to be able to breathe through your nose.

Well I think that the main reason of throat dryness is the change in weather that In Hot weather there is more dryness into the Air . What do you say about it ?
