remstar w/c-flex

Post by Shiny » Mon Jun 27, 2011 10:51 pm

Hi there ppl: I haven't been on here for quite some time but was wondering if someone here could advise on what the problem with my cpap is. I decided to try going without it for a little while because I've lost some weight and was curious. Well, I'm getting pretty tired now and need to start using the cpap again but I plugged it in last night and the display just reads E-47. It doesn't matter what button(s) I press or press and hold, nothing works.
Is there a trick to getting in and reconfiguring this thing?

Thanks,

Here's the definition of the error code:

E-47 ERR_FL12_SENSOR_RAILED
•Occluded or restricted pressure tube
•Defective flow sensor
•Replace flow tube
•Replace Main PCA

Does it power up and blow any air?
If it does, it could be a broken hose nipple inside the machine on the output port (where the hose attaches to the front of the machine). Or, it could be a more serious problem (especially if water got into the machine somehow).

I see you're in BC. If you're inclined to send it south of the US/Can border, there are some places that work on them down here. One of them has a web address of acbio dot com. Or, do a forum search on "acbio" and the links will be in some of my posts.

Good to see you again. Hope you get it fixed. Those are good machines.
Another option may be to check out the cpapauction dot com site, too.

Hi there, thanks for the response. Good to see you too. No it doesn't blow, it just flashes the error code and the buttons flash along with the beeping. The only response I can get from it is when it stops beeping.
Tomorrow, I'll try taking it apart to check the internal connections.

Thanks eh!
