I am new to the CPAP therapy and could use a little guidance.
I purchased my unit fronm Apria. They initially had a class that they showed you the proper use of the machine. At the class we were told that the machine had a modem that sent the statistics of your personal daily sleep usage and different values. We were told that this information went to our physician and that we could not obtain this information without contacting our physician.
After one week of using the machine, i called Apria and asked the question again, if i could obtain the information without calling my physician. again i was told no. The representative did go online and gave me my values at that time but said there was no way that i could do this myself.
after reading from these postings you all seem to have your values. so i am looking for what i need to do. Do i need to buy something that will allow me to get these values ? or is there a way to get onto the site that the Apria representative was on ?....
Any help wpould be appreciative, because i am a type one personality and would be very curious to see my daily results.
thanks

I'm not familiar with Remstar, but I suggest you register and list your equipment in TEXT so it appears in your signature. You will get the most accurate information that way.

I believe the modem covers or is in place of the normal SD card or slot.
Check out the machine I have listed in my profile. While mine is Auto unit the SD card placement area is in the same spot in the back of the machine. When choosing your machine the full new model name is PR System One Remstar CPAP Pro with CFlex Plus.
Not sure if removing modem temporarily messes with data or not. Once the modem as not needed to verify compliance usage the SD card can be used to obtain the data using software.
You could ask how long the modem will be needed.
Any generic 1 GB SD card will work. $10 at Walmart.
Software options described here.

You can also request clinician manual here. Be sure to request PR System One Pro cpap with CFlex Plus.
The wording Remstar Pro with CFex actually is same wording as a very old model and not exactly what your machine is.

In the meantime I will check my clinician manual and try to figure out the modem thing.

So far all I can find. Will add more to this post if I can find more.
Nothing in my clinical manual about modem at all, so no help there.
Edit. This shows where SD card slot is. short video

I cannot find any images to show modem placement to see if SD card can still be used even with modem stuff.
To OP please take the time to register to forum and add your equipment. Be sure to scroll to the list of PR machine choices.
