I’ve ordered a couple of things from them. Shipping was fast and reasonable. In stock items received in 2 days.

I ordered a BMC style reader (ARC38-BMC-R), received it 4 or 5 days, works just fine with Windows 7 and ResScan. Personally, I like this reader better, smaller foot print, easier to make a guide for. I just cut two strips from an old card 12 mm and 18mm wide by about 60mm long, narrow strip on the left looking at lights. Card inserted between strips, contacts toward you looking at lights, strips remain in reader with less fuss.

Please note these are new readers and priced as such. I paid $39.95+$6.00 S/H for the BMC. The BMC (upright), L (heavy contacts) and SAM (security), are upgrades from the standard ARC38-SPC and cost more. The SPC would be $22.95 if they had a non-CCID version.

CAUTION: The SAM version may not work since it technically requires a different driver. I would not order one without further research.
If you want a reader, DO NOT order from web site. You will get the CCID version which is not compatible. Instead, call them at the above number and SPECIFY non-CCID version.

I found the ACR-38 at this site http://www.scdeveloper.com/Readers/ACR38.htm
When you go to purchase the card it asks if you want:
1. STD - No SAM
2. CCID No SAM +$5.00
3. w/ SAM Module +$10.00

Can someone please help me with this? I have no idea which one I need. Thanks!
