Hello,
Just curious if anybody knew the expected life of a machine like mine. It is an M-Series Auto CPAP machine with A-flex. It doesn't have any problems and has worked absolutely flawless since I got it. I now have 6,300 hours of therapy time on it and 6,340 total hours.
Just wanted to see what other peoples experiences with them have been and whether I should start looking for a replacement machine or not.
Thanks!
Tracy

Re: Expected life of M-Series Auto machine ?
It ain't the expected life.........it's the unexpected short life (or accident) that'll get ya.
If you don't have a backup machine yet, you're playing a risky game. If you've put that many hours on your machine, you're probably in the category of "can't sleep without it" like many of the rest of us.
The "M Series" has been known for having numerous issues and failing unexpectedly.
There are lots of them (and others) on the cpapauction site for reasonable prices.

Well, my machine has been pretty reliable. Not a single problem in the almost three years I've used it. That being said, I agree with you and will start researching a replacement. Thanks!!

The failure mode tends to be sudden death of the machine with no warning, not slow fading into the sunset.tdm5032c wrote:Well, my machine has been pretty reliable. I've had two "M" series that didn't make it to their third birthdays. Done with Respronics machines forever.
