Hi
Just started cpap treatment about 6 weeks now, started with machine and mask found had a dry mouth. So the clinic got a Humidifier for me. The only problem I found after ramping it sounded noisey to me. Has anyone else had this problem.
Resmed H4i Humidifier
Re: Resmed H4i Humidifier
I have the same humidifier and mine is quiet. Just make sure the lid is totally closed- you should hear a click- and don't fill above the water level on the chamber. You may even fill a little bit below that. Good Luck

Its unfortunate that they didn't tell you that humidification is really important.
What kind of noise are you getting?
Make sure you click it tight after filling it with water. And like Mary said, don't fill it above the fill line.......even a little less.
What are your numbers? Are you sure it isn't a bad connection in your tubing somewhere?

I found my S8 quieter with the humidifier than without. Obvioulsy there a shift in frequencies which you're not used too, so hang in there the humidifier
is important.
