Nasal pillows on masks vs. nasal prongs that go in the nose

Post by SevereApnea1 » Thu Jan 05, 2006 3:12 am

Does anybody know of a "minimal" mask that has a nosepiece that fits snugly beneath the nose WITHOUT nasal prongs that go into the nose? I like the Comfort Curve style of nasal pillows.

Thanks.

I use the large pillows on the Swift and they don't go into my nose. Your nose sorta rests on the pillows. They have a "flared" opening that I'm sure goes in just a little, but not enough that I've noticed it. When I tried the small pillows they did go IN and that was uncomfortable.

I like the Breeze since taking it off and putting it on is literally like putting on a baseball cap. The pillows are not a problem and as a side sleeper there are no hoses in the way because it goes over my head from in front.
