Received my card reader today! and changed pressures.

Post by jilliansue » Mon Apr 25, 2011 5:38 pm

My card reader came in the mail today -- hooray!!! I have to work a "bored" meeting tonight and will not be able to play with it just yet. I am happy I was able to find one, as with the S8 machines it is a bear to get one. I look forward to downloading some data and having a look at it, and then playing with my machine settings and seeing what the effect is.

I took a few days off from PAP therapy due to a tooth extraction and I felt pretty much ok. But I had not had that rested feeling for awhile. I did feel better earlier on in my PAP therapy. When I resumed using my Bipap machine the other night, I reduced the pressures, and my AHI and AI numbers were good! I would like to keep the pressures lower, it is easier than having all this air blowing in my nose. But I will have to see hnow the rest of the data looks.

Thank you to everyone here for the help you have given me. I am amazed at the level of knowledge here.

Jill
