Thanks guys. I am new and have a hard time maneuvering around community boards and tech terms. I dont have my equipment, etc posted because I havent figured out how to do that yet even though one of the thoughtful people here told me how - still havent been bright enough to figure it out yet.

But thanks again for not being offended and your answers make perfect sense.

Talk to everyone soon. Hopefully when I get more experience under my belt (I mean mask) :} I'll be able to post more and help others too.

bprater... for another time... keep it in the same thread so that people don't get confused... just respond to it.

For anyone else... the thread that bprater's referring to is found

Till you get the Profile/Equipment page thing figured out if you have a question that remotely might be impacted by the machine or mask. Just list it in the post.

Rested gal as some instructions for the equipment thing with pictures. I borrowed her work because I am lazy and she does it better.

To make your machine and mask info show up automatically each time you post:

Click the words User Control Panel (upper left of this page, just below the "Search" box.)

Click the Profile tab.

Click Edit Equipment (select at least the machine and the mask.)

If you're not sure of the name of your machine, look on the machine. Full name of machine is usually written on top. Name of mask is usually written on back of headgear or on the mask itself.

Allow other users to view your CPAP equipment: Yes

How would you like your equipment displayed: choose Text (not "Image")

Click Submit.
