Newbie's first 31 days of data

Post by Eddie B » Mon Apr 18, 2011 5:20 am

I just completed my first full month with my CPAP machine. My cumulative readings are Apnea Index - 2.7, Hypopnea Index 2.4, AHI 5.1 - I had heard that during my Sleep Study (will get the report soon), that the first two hours my AHI was around 80. It does appear that over the last week my Hypopnea's have been going up a bit compared to two weeks ago. I'm thinking that potential food consumed in the evening (milk and cookies) might trigger some type of food allergy that might be impacting my sleep. Has anyone studied a correlation to how certain food types might impact sleep quality?
