Mask Mods: Presenting the NapStar 5000!!!

Post by McSnoresalot » Mon Apr 11, 2011 9:52 am

Consider this prototype Revision 1.

Image

Note 1: I used a novelty Friday the 13th glow-in-dark hockey mask strapped to a coffee can for the model. (I have had a LOT of fun with that hockey mask over the years - scared the crap out of Wifey more than once)

Note 2: This mask is more of a Napping mask than a sleeping one - really need to be propped up in a hammock or recliner lest you spil your beverage of choice.

Note 3: This is a nasal mask, probably could modify to use pillows, but FFM would be difficult - the beverage feed line would create leaks.

Note 4: Already working on Revision 2 - going to incorporate a head lamp.

Mac,

Have you no taste in brew? Yuck on Bud Light!
I'd hook up Corona Light, 2 below, German Brew, Tacate, Fat Tire.
But Bud Light??? Maaaaac, I'm very disappointed
However, I'll give you points on creativity!

Yep - the Budlight is definitely a party foul - Beer helmet doesn't hold bottles that well.

Always have Budlight on hand for unexpected drop-ins (if I keep the good stuff around, it gets consumed at an alarming rate - the BL tends to languish in the fridge)

I always rock the beer-helmet when I am driving the lawn tractor (detracts from the belching smoke and roar of the rotted out exhaust system) - the neighbors hate my got-it-for-free-off-Cragislist tractor, but when they see the beer helmet, they tend to avoid any confrontation. Usually just have two empties in there for prop effect - if you really try to drink with it, it's like shotgunning two beers at once.

You could go FFM and use the O2 ports for the beverage line. seal them with sillicone or something like that.
