I already use a Resmed S8 machine. I find its use easy and beneficial.
In the course of an annual review of results of apnias consistent leakages were identified and another mask (FX Sprint was recommended and also switching up to a Resmed S9 machine.
I sought a best Australian (S9) price using my computer. The search threw up a USA on-line seller. Their price is half price the Australian price.
Now to my question of anyone with a Resmed S9 model. Does the Resmed S9 models come with dual voltage settings ? i.e. both you 110v and our 220-240volts . If not I will I have to include an Australian sourced transformer into my pricing comparison
Thanks

Re: cpap volatages in USA
many of the machines actually operate on 12 or 24 volts DC, and the power supplies (external bricks) will accept voltage from 110 to 240 Volts and either 50 or 60 cycles. I would check with the manufacturer to be sure. You probably will neet an adapter to plug it in as US models come with a two blade NEMA 1-15 plug.

Re: cpap volatages in USA
The ResMed S9 is a multi voltage machine and will work anywhere in the world, all you need is an adapter plug to fit the power point.
There are a few other issues to be aware off.
ResMed don't like you purchasing in another country so you probably won't have any warranty, but they are very reliable.
You will probably have trouble finding someone in the USA that can sell you one but this can be overcome.
The Australian S9 machines come with the better washable water tank and the heated hose as standard, both are recommended.
I can claim $500 on my health insurance for a local purchase.
The best Australian price I've found is about $2000 for the recommended S9 AutoSet.
That said, I do purchase all my masks, spare hose, and filters etc. from The USA and will also purchase a backup machine from the same source when I decide to do so.
