Third night with new machine

I have used my new machine for three nights. At first I liked it. But now after 3 nights, the water in the humidifier hasn't gone down at all, I've had the humidifier set on 4 and I am bone dry and have a headache and sore throat. Clearly something is wrong. I had my humidity level on 1 on my old machine, and usually the water level would go down by about half each night. I am wondering if other people have experienced the same thing with this type of machine. I have checked ALL the settings, connectors, everything I could think of. I am calling DME this morning.
