Mini Yippee!

Post by jbn3boys » Thu Mar 24, 2011 11:01 am

Okay, in an effort to focus on the successes, rather than the long, slow road, I just have to share a small success.

For each of the last three nights, I have an at least one span of 45-60 minutes with absolutely no events! No apneas, no hypopneas! I'm thinking this has GOT to be a good sign!

My overall AHI has also inched downward, with a few nights below 5 (finally!). I'm still working toward an AHI lower than 2.5, since I know that's when I feel the best. But I'll take this little YIPPEE and focus on that!

Congrats on the small steps forward.

It does feel great to celebrate them, doesn't it?

And a sincere wish they continue.

That's great news. I love hearing about people making progress--every encouraging. I've realized this is a marathon, not a sprint, and we need to recognize the successes when we get them. It's easy to get frustrated and since so many of us are here posting what DOESN'T work for us (which is fine--we all need to get advice from others in the same boat), it's sometimes easy to forget that people are doing great with CPAP too!
