Looking for a shop at Orlando

Post by Jex » Wed Mar 16, 2011 2:37 pm

Hi there,

I live in Brazil but have a friend that is going to US next week. I'd like to ask her to buy me a cpap machine (PR System One REMstar Auto CPAP Machine with A-Flex). I was planing on buying online and asking to be delivered to her hotel but she is more confortable buying it herself instead of geting it delivered.

That brings me to my question.

Can any of you point me to a shop, located at Orlando, but also with online presence so I can check if the machine is available, price, etc and decide if it's worth buying in person of online is better ?

Hope I'm not asking too close of the trip and can get the answer in time (best would be at most this friday) so if no shop is found of it's too expensive or do not have the product or do not accept my prescription or any other problem, I still have time to order online.

Thanks in advance,
Jex

Can't help with the name of a store in Orlando but I'm sure you would be able to find one with an internet search of a Orlando/Florida telephone book.
However, unless your friend has a prescription for the machine I don't think you can buy one without it.

ETA: sorry didn't see last part of your post about prescription. Here is a link to the Yellow Pages that may help you.

Hi JRI,

Will check the link you provided.

The prescription is one point I need to check with the store. The online stores I've checked told me that my prescription is accepted if I provide an english translation. This may not be the case with a smaller shop that never did any business with tourists.
