Attention all RemStar Auto w/C-Flex Owners:New User Question

Post by smyles » Mon Dec 19, 2005 9:03 pm

Hi Gang,

My DME finally shipped me a new RemStar Auto w/C-Flex. My perseverance paid off!!! Unfortunately, they goofed and set the machine between 8 cm & 13 cm. I was recently titrated at 14 cm! Someone misread the report. Rather than wasting my time calling the DME to request adjustment, do you know how to adjust the setting?

My "old" RemStar pressure could be adjusted by disconnecting the power, holding down the humidification, ramp and on/off switch at the same time, then reconnecting the power. Then I used the buttons to adjust the pressure.

Is it the same for the Auto w/C-Flex?

Even better, smyles, get the free software and the $30 card reader and you can adjust the pressure, easily, any time you want to through the smart card.

Henk, if you mean you have the Encore Pro software, that *is* the software that allows you to change your pressure. On the menu on the left hand side, go to "create prescription." That will let you adjust your pressure.

Hi GollegeGirl,

Thanks a lot, I'll try it out. So far I was so happy that I succeeded to make a read out of my smartcard that I didn't dare to experiement further.
Thanks again and merry X-mas from Holland,

Henk
