Sometimes you just don't see it. As some of you know, I have had some problems with my vpap auto 25 because of the PS setting (was set to diff between Ipap and Epap) and AHI problems from a not so great FF FP Forma mask. The problems lasted from the time I got my machine to some time in October, maybe 10 months. Unfortunately I didn't have the card reader and I wasn't monitoring.
On the tennis court, during the period, I was very erratic, missing some really easy put away shots and playing horribly. I really had no answers and never dwelled on it. In December I went to Florida for a few weeks and played tennis. Well, I was like a different person in total control of my movement, strategy and execution of shots. Sure I made some bad shots but didn't miss one "sitter" and after playing 2 hours of doubles we beat a team to whom we definitely should have lost. I didn't realize the OSA might have had something to do with my bad play. That was the first time (since I got the new machine) that I played tennis with an AHI in the 6 range rather than the 30 range. Focus and even stamina was a thousand times better. God knows how OSA can effect our lives.
