Newbie here - need advice

Post by kevster324 » Tue Feb 22, 2011 3:25 pm

I began using my equipment last night. I slept ok, until about 4 hours in. I woke up and the "nibs" on the ends of the stabilizer arms were poking into my face. What can I do to keep this from happening? Other than it was a good experience.

Were you using the little felt like sleeves over the plastic? They will slide around and really aren't thick enough.

Padacheek makes all sorts of goodies for our comfort. Fleece sleeves are thicker and won't move so much.
Or a person could easily make their own with just a layer of nice fleece wrapped around the offending plastic. Secure with velcro. I did it but mine didn't look nearly as good has Padacheek's but it worked.

Take a look here.

Make sure the headgear is not too tight.

Those pieces can be stretched outward a little with your hands without breaking. I've considered cutting them off.
