Quattro fx headgear too small?

Post by lfreese » Sun Feb 20, 2011 10:15 am

I have been using a Quattro mask with medium size mask and headgear. After months of fighting leaks I ordered an FX medium. It came with medium headgear that is way too small and had to have the mask very tight to just get it buckled. I have been waiting for several weeks for my DME to get me a large headgear and still don't have it. Anyway, I found that by taking my medium headgear off of my old Quattro it would fit onto the new FX. The straps are a little wider, but they will fit thru the slots on the mask and the mask clips. I can now use the fx while I wait for my new headgear to arrive. I tried it last night with promising results. It pays to be a tinkerer.

I like how you think!
I'm going to trial the large Quattro FX Head Gear attached to my old Quattro, tonight.
