Has anyone had any experience with this? I have had my cpap machine now for 10 months and still not having much luck with the masks and noise levels even with the newer bi-bap machine. I have a long narrow face and struggle with leaks all night irregardless of using a full face mask or a nasal pillow mask. The Sleep Weaver looks promising, so I'd like feedback.
Thanks, Whiskers52

Re: The Sleep Weaver Advance Nasal Mask
Have you tried a nasal mask (not pillows)? I have a long, narrow face and I find nasal masks tend to leak less than full face masks.

Re: The Sleep Weaver Advance Nasal Mask
I used the sleepweaver to some success. The mask is very comfortable, much more then nasal masks or the full face mask I own. The problem I have is the leaks. Maybe it has a low lifespan or something, because after a month and half, the seal is not as good. The leaks are super annoying (more so then normal), being exceptionally loud. That said, I'm not sure any mask is as comfortable to wear.
Re: The Sleep Weaver Advance Nasal Mask
The Sleepweaver is my mask of choice -- has been for the past 4 months or so.
You will find one of two things with it -- it'll either immediately work for you or it won't -- you'll not really be able to tweak it or adjust it to get it to work -- its a Go/NoGo situation.
I find the leaks a wee bit more than I had with other nasal masks but well within the 24 L/min criteria for my machine (averaging a median of about 5, with a 95th % of 10 and a max of 15-16) and a. I'm willing to live with a wee bit more leakage for the comfort .
My experience with it has been that big leaks are not any more noticeable that with any other nasal mask -- perhaps of a different sound nature but not any louder or softer than any other I've used.
I find far less face marking from the headgear and/or the mask than with any other I've used.
As for the durability of the mask I'm finding it to be quite durable -- it'll stretch out the strap attachment points rather quickly and make one think it's not going to last but once stretched out it'll hang in there forever. I currently have 2 masks (got the second at the 3 month mark) and still switch in and out of the first one after a solid 3-3 1/2 months of use and its still good to go. Did notice a slight fit difference between the two -- the second new one leaks a wee bit more than the original (median, 95th and max all up about 3-4 tics) -- not sure whether this is to me having the straps slightly different or slight differences in construction -- the second seems to vent a wee bit more than the first so that may be it as well. I'm looking forward to getting a third to see how consistent they may be.
If you use a nasal mask and have the opportunity or finances to try a Sleepweaver I'd strongly urge you to do so -- it may very well work for you and if it does I don't think you are going to find a more comfortable mask.
