Check it out!!! I just got a new Mirage Quattro Mask and the first night I put it on my wife noticed how loud it was. I also had problems breathing. I used it that nigh but in the morning I started to compare it to my old mask. Come to find out the number of exhaust holes in the new mask was 33 versus 36 in the old mask. Used the old mask the next night and everything was fine.
Have since checked with my DME and the masks are still with 33 holes so I am still using my old mask of a year ago. Don't know if anyone has noticed this or it was a problem but would like to know.

Bin it.
Re: Mirage Quattro Mask
you should not be getting that noise from the vents holes if it disturbing your wife ,probably it is from the leaks as to control the leaks on this mask is a big challenge ,if you mouth breathing that too will cause more leaks, try to make a conscious effort to breathe through your nose .

Re: Mirage Quattro Mask
I don't know why 3 extra small holes would cause that much more noise. Be sure that the hose or your pillow is not blocking the vent holes...that will cause noise.
