GoLife Nasal Pillows: First impression

Post by woodg » Wed Feb 16, 2011 1:52 pm

It arrived today from CPAP.com, and thought I would share my first impressions.

I've been using the Opus 360 for most of the last year and found that for the most part it seems to work pretty well for me. I have been having some problems with leaks so thought I'd try something else.

It seems to be very similar to the Opus 360 in general. The headgear doesn't seem quite as robust, but more than adequate. In my first fitting, it seems to hold position a bit better than the Opus, but I'll have to wait until tonight to get it really dialed in. Where the pillow locks in to the headgear is a more positive fit. I have found that sometimes after cleaning, getting the pillow on the 360 you really have to make sure it's seated correctly. The GoLife has nibs on the ends of it that lock into the headgear and it's very easy to tell that it's locked in correctly.

I'll post more after I've used it for a night or two to see how it actually works out.

Could you tell me how the size of the large GoLife pillows compare to those of the Opus 360? I found the large (original) Opus pillows just a bit too small to get a good seal. By comparison, all of the Swift pillows are just fine.
