Resmed S8 Data Card

I recently acquired a Resmed S8 Elite II as a backup machine. The only thing missing from the set-up is the data card. Does anyone know where I can get one? The only place online that I can find selling them is at http://www.cpapaustralia.com.au/shoppin ... 22905.html. I'm not sure if they will ship overseas, still waiting to hear back from them. I was hoping to find someplace in the States so that I wouldn't have to pay almost as much in shipping as for the actual card. Thanks.

Check with your DME? Mine gives them out.. so does my doctor's office; he wants the data, so he gives me the card.

Can you check with a local DME that carries the ResMed to see if they have some of those cards laying around? Apparently with the change to the S9's, that card isn't easy to find online. Used to find them everywhere. Not sure about Australia, seems like I read where someone bought something that was a ResMed product and had their money returned to them because ResMed said that they couldn't ship outside of Australia. I can't swear to it though. Just something I saw in passing last week.

Don't really have a DME right now. Purchased my equipment thru an online company. My insurance is BS/BC and my policy allows $1500.00 per year in durable medical equipment (ie CPAP). I didn't like any of my local DMEs, they were very pushy and told me that there were only certain things I could get from them with my insurance, which I knew was a total crock, since I have to pay out of pocket then get reimbursed. I can't see how it was any of their concern about what equipmernt I was purchasing.

Is there a sleep specialist you see? Mine has cards they give out when they wanna change the settings on your machine... its the same card for downloading data.

My Dr. wants to see some data from my ResMed S8. My DME has been promising for 3 weeks to send me a datacard, but never does. What is the best alternative to obtaining a ResMed S8 datacard.

Your profile says you have an S9...why do you want an S8 data card?
