29 months with Quattro cushion

Post by Billy6 » Mon Jan 24, 2011 1:56 pm

I just gave up the ghost on my initial quattro cushion after 29 months, and had to buy a new one. I'm guessing if you change your cushion or hose more frequently than every 12-18 months, you've overdoing the deal and making supplies more expensive for those who self-pay. The dental device works fine when I'm on the road, and an orthodontist is 100% sure that some jaw surery will cure the condition, but thats a bit pricey right now

29 months is very impressive, but the adage with ResMed cushions seems to be "they don't make them like they used to"--at least that's the case with their nasal pillows. People who have had the masks for some time report the quality of the pillows has declined significantly from their original masks.

It will be intersting to see if you can get anywhere near 29 months out of your new cushion. Keep us posted!
