Are you un- or under-insured? Need a FFM?

Post by needsomezees » Thu Jan 20, 2011 11:12 pm

Sorry all, both masks have been claimed. If I come up with any more I will let you all know. If you sent a PM and were not accommodated, I will save these and give you priority next time.

I have good insurance, so I can change masks with little to no cost... I don't change for the sake of it, but I have some flexibility that I know a lot of folks don't have. I have a couple of FFM's that I would be willing to part with. They didn't cost me (out of pocket), but they did cost my ins co, which I pay for, so I guess they did really cost me - but you all know what I mean.

Anyways - I am not interested in trying to make a profit here. I want to offer them to someone who needs help. And I really mean help - not someone who just wants to try something new and can't wait another 30 days for their order, or someone interested in taking advantage so they can try to resell them. This therapy has been a game changer for me. A large part of my success is due to the fact I can pretty much get what I want as far as masks and such. This goes a long way towards getting the right fit (literally and figuratively) early and certainly provides opportunity for compliance! Not everyone is as fortunate so compliance may be much more challenging.

Ok - I have said a lot to say this... Serious inquiries only... if you can afford it, don't reply - if you are due for a replacement in the next 30 days and your insurance is sufficient, don't reply. If you are uninsured or under-insured and can't afford what you need to start, continue or achieve what we are all looking for with this therapy; and if one of these masks will help you, send me a PM and let me know which your are interested in. No cost. If it doesn't work for you, then maybe you can give someone else a chance.

Quattro-Fx FFM in a large that is opened, but has not been worn. The sizing guide has me right between a large and a medium. I tried it on, but didn't even try to sleep in it because I knew I would need the medium. The DME would not exchange it since it was opened, so I just ordered a medium. Needless to say - I now have a Quattro Fx that I can't use.

Phillips Comfort Gel FFM in a medium - I tried it one night... hated it, but I know a lot of people love it.

Both have the headgear and all that good stuff. I might add - I use a Swift FX 95% of the time - I only use the FFM for those nights my allergies get the better of me. Just thought I should explain why I didn't keep trying with the Comfort Gel... didn't need it again after the first night... then the Q FX came along... it rocks (now that I have a medium)!

Send me a PM if interested. Hope one of these can help!

You are very generous and kind to do this. I would have jumped at the chance to try one a month ago when I had a sinus infection that lasted two months with total blockage and I have no insurance to cover a new mask (I had bought all used CPAP equipment because of no insurance). But now I am over the sinus issues and don't have an immediate need. But if you still have one come Spring allergy season ...

I don't need the help now that you offer, but I have to just say thank you for being a person in the this world who lives from the heart. Thanks for sharing your abundance. Namaste, MoonBear
