Well if you don't know I sure hope you lose your license. Some sleep clinic if they don't know the answers.

You kick them out of bed and tell them to sleep in the guest room.

I was going to say "poke them" but your solution is a more effective one.

I put a pillow over the face of the person snoring and apply a little pressure. Works like a charm. Of course I usa a pap pillow. Really, what kind of answer did you think you are going to get from a sleep apnea forum called cpaptalk.com?

Jules is right you should lose your license if you really do run a sleep clinic.

I used to kiss my dear hubby on the lips; he would close his mouth in order to kiss me back--even in his sleep.
His mouth stayed closed long enough for me to get to sleep--problem solved.
Just try that with a patient!

I was miserable from my husband's snoring. I had gotten myself to a sleep study - got titrated, got my machine, my hose and my mask. I was all set and his snoring got worse and worse. I got him an appointment with my sleep doctor, he went for a study and was diagnosed with UARS - upper airway resistance syndrome. My doctor went the extra mile of writing to the insurance company and low and behold my husband got an s9 with a full face mask and the proper pressure for him of 9 and guess what? What a lovely quiet bedroom we have now? We have only the white noise from our cpaps. How soothing!

Regards,

Jersey Girl

Before a got my CPAP machine I snored a lot. I have been told by several I was a particularly loud snorer. Anyway, today my wife and my neighbors no longer complain about my snoring. An added plus is that the soreness in my side is now completely gone. I suspect my wife has elbowing me to stop snoring. I also dream again and feel more refreshed in the morning. I do well on 7 hours of sleep a night.

If you have a member of your family who disturbs your sleep I recommend they have a sleep study. If they refuse, they are being extremely selfish. As many of you know sleep apnea can be fatal, and contributes or is associated with all manner of medical issues.

Have you tried something like this Image

I can't believe you asked that in this forum..

That would be like a robber trying to rob a bar that is a policemen's hangout....

Put a tennis ball in their sleep shirt where it would lie between the shoulder blades. That could keep your snorer off their back!
