My Devillbiss Intellipap developed a problem in warranty, and they sent me a new one. This one has "SmartFlex" - oh joy, a bunch of new settings I need to learn to use. My overriding question right now is, can I still use my Smartlink module (purchased 10/2009) with this cpap? I haven't purchased the software upgrade yet - haven't seen a need as the original seems OK. Has anyone else had the occasion to use the original smartlink module and software with a new Intellipap, and are there issues?
Thanks!
Luanne

Re: New Intellipap w/Smartflex - old Smartlink - OK?
When SmartFlex was added to the machines in August, a full version software upgrade was also launched. Version 2 is not upgradable from the older 1.? version you probably have. This is because there were many changes to the software and features. Version 2 has already had a number of small upgrades but those happen automatically when you open the program. You should be able to buy just the disk for Version 2. Call cpap.com and ask if they have just the disks for sale. If they don't, PM DeVilbiss Marketing, a forum member here, who is a marketing rep for the company. She may be able to help you.
You will like the SmartFlex feature along with the patented Rounding feature. If you need the new clinician's manual to learn how to set these features to your liking, PM me with your email address and I'll send you a copy.

Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.
