question about cleaning mask
question about cleaning mask
When I wash my mask I use Ivory liquid (a couple of drops) and warm water and swish it around, rinse it thoroughly, and let it air dry on a towel. I invariably have residual small soap or water marks on the mask. No matter what I do, they are there when the mask is dry. Is this a problem? I could wipe the mask with a baby wipe to get rid of the water splotches but not sure if it matters. thanks

Re: question about cleaning mask
Most soaps have perfumes and moisturizers. I don't recall if Ivory does or not, but that is probably what's left after rinsing. I use one of the "clear of everything" dish detergents (don't recall the brand at the moment) and it works great.

I use a soap called Kirk's Castile. All natural..... coconut soap, veg glycerin, coconut oil. That's it as far as ingredients.

Re: question about cleaning mask
I use the Ivory Liquid classic and after soaking & washing I rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat down with a clean towel.
Then let it air dry.
I have never had residual water marks and I suppose it is because I dry with a clean face towel.
The Ivory Classic seems to be the soap of choice on this forum and that is why I decided to use it....no perfumes or moisturizers.
