That's a typical winter in Wisconsin...get out there and grab that shovel.

It all looks like good news to me......... If it's snowing, it's not usually 40 below and blowing.

The only problem is that it is not enough snow to stay home!

It looks like just another day in Minnesota.

So what's your problem????? Send help????? For what?????

My sympathies Gumby. Me too I hope FEMA will arrive soon and the snow blower boy, but only after the machine passed in the street and let a terrible snow edge at the entrance of the driveway Take it easy ! one shovel at a time

I'm in Ontario Canada and, if I posted the pictures that I took of the storm that shut down our city (London Ontario - schools and businesses closed -public transit and all!) no one could tell if it was your yard/house or ours!

We get lots of snow here but this was the most in one day in decades. We still have lots of snow around and it has snowed several times since but all our streets are plowed and everything is running fine now. We had more snow that day than we had all of the winter before.

Fortunately we live in a townhouse condo corporation and our condo fees pay for snow clearing etc. The crew that works here sure earned their money and more for a couple of days - and nights. The city got caught up and running again in a couple of days.

4 inches of that crap fell in the Metro Vancouver area last night!

FOUR INCHES!

Crikey, it NEVER snows in Vancouver in the winter - rain, yes (think Seattle), but not that white unpleasantness... case in point - they had to truck snow in from 3 hours east of the city to put on Cypress Mountain so that they could hold some of the in-city alpine events at the 2010 Winter Olympics!

Needless to say, I am not impressed... I got off work at 11 last night and it took me >45 minutes to drive home. It usually only takes 20 minutes - 25 tops if there's a night train crossing the tracks or if there's cops out or if it's raining hard. I'm going to have to give myself an hour to get to work this afternoon, only because there will be more people on the roads than last night (some guy had the nerve to tail gate me for part of the last mile of my journey - WTF?).

FEMA shema...it's just SNOW! It looks like a lovely snow, too. Just like we had a few weeks ago here in Wisconsin. I'd take it again this weekend, please! Love those snowstorms that bury you in!
