Life changes

Post by trytryagain » Wed Jan 05, 2011 9:34 pm

Just thinking about how funny life is. The most exciting thing in my life at this moment is the fact that a new ff mask came on the market. it used to be new shoes or jeans now its a cpap mask! How boring am I? Not to mention I was obsessed with a home decorating forum. Now I spend any spare time here on cpap talk.

Join the crowd. I have a friend with MS, who once told me that she was blessed to have MS. Why?, I asked. Well she proceeded to tell me that her MS helped her better focus on what is important to her.

So, it is with sleep apnea. You value sleep more than most people ever do. You fight to get a good night sleep. So, if you see something that might make your life interested, you get excited. Just as I did over the announcement of the new mask. It's on my list to call me DME tomorrow morning.

As you can see, you are not alone. You've had your priorities reset. Though it might not be shoes or dresses, being interested in a new mask to help you sleep better is several notches more important. Most of us can relate.

I actually was just telling my wife the same thing. I use to be excited about the next big computer gizmo or gadget. Now, I too get excited about new masks and CPAP features.

Hmmm, I only have an S-8. I guess I am a little green with CPAP-envy. Perhaps there is a market for CPAP bling like chrome hoses and racing strip decals.

A member had mentioned on another post a while back about slip-on designer covers like they have for cel phones and I-pods. I would like to see an alarm clock feature added, get rid of some stuff on nightstand. john

If this place had a "Like" function like on FaceBook, otherwise I'd happily give the OP a thumbs up.

Yes - another site I am on, Ravelry.com , has lots of buttons - educational, interesting, funny, agree, disagree and love!

I miss those buttons here!
PS - we even have a sleep apnea sub board on it - now that is special interest - knitting and sleep apnea
