Setting Climate Control prob

I can't get the climate control icon to show up, either on Home page or in Patient setup menu. I've gone into clinical setup and selected "patient", but still no icon; no matter what setting I select -- manual, auto, patient -- I get no icon. Under Patient setup, only "hose" settings available are "standard" and Slimline."

According to S9 manual, under Patient setup directions, Climate Control "only displayed if ClimateLine is connected and also set to Patient in Clinical Setup menu."

So actually attaching Climateline hose is required to activate the icon? No proper hose, no setting? I wanted to clarify before plunking down $50 for the hose. Or is there some other setup step I'm missing? I've been going through the different setup menus repeatedly, trying all variations of hose and climate settings with no luck.

Yup!

You need to have the climateline hose attached to get the climate settings screen.

As soon as you connect the climateline hose, the machine will display that the hose has been detected, and the icon will then be present.
