Here in NC, we are a balmy 22 degrees....with a bitter windchill in the single digits. Supposed to snow Thursday--that's the only good reason for that kind of cold!

Any landing you walk away from is a good one; if you don't break your airplane it's excellent.

Along the banana belt of the front range in Colorado....

headed for a possible record high of 66F.

About to become the dryest month on record for Denver.
No measurable moisture in ~3mths.

Nan,

Of course it is nice in Alberta. Y'all sent all the cold air to Atlanta for the winter. We had a record breaking 14 degrees last night. Please, please say you will take it back.

NOT ON A BET!!!!!!! It has been cold here too, in the south of Alberta it doesn't get overly cold anyway, nor do we get that much snow. The cold Alberta weather that you get comes from the north....originally from ALASKA thru Alberta, then on to you. We live in the southwest corner of the province and it will be 10 one day and the next it can be 40 or 50 degrees, we get warm winds from the coast that we call a "chinook" and it warms up like crazy. That's what we have this week, it was in the low 20's last week and we got a couple of inches of snow......now its just about all gone ....BUT... it's supposed to get cold again on the weekend. CRAP!!!
I'll send it all on the you for Christmas......you would like to have a white Christmas...... wouldn't you?
Bundle up Amos,,,it's warmer that way

Cheers and have a great Christmas

For the last week the night temps were running around the -32C (-26F) temps with daytime highs of -22C (-8F)

Now, we are experiencing balmy "warm" weather of -16C (3F) at night and daytime at -13C (9F)

Time to bring out my shorts and sandals!

Aww. Here I was thinking I would win this cold contest, but diboja beat me out! It was -24F here this morning.

And there is NO chance we will not have a white Christmas. We had 20+ inches of snow this last weekend (mostly on Saturday). Definitely a snowstorm to remember, followed by bitter cold!
