forgot to put water in my humidifier

Post by hannahF » Mon Dec 13, 2010 7:08 pm

Hi - I checked to see if this was posted previously but did not find anything.

Last night I forgot to fill my humidifier tank with water.

Does this damage the machine?
I have Resmed S9 and use the climate line tubing.

No problem at all. I have done that too! The thermostat just shuts off instead of over-heating. john

I forget to remove the water in the morning and dont' discover it till nighttime.. I hope its not making the machine get bacteria.

Most of us just top the unit off with dis-stilled and only clean weekly or monthly. In the morning, just rinse and put an ounce of vinegar in it, shake it around and rinse it a few times and you will be forgiven, but just this one time. john
