Intellipap filter question

Post by Junebug999 » Thu Nov 25, 2010 11:53 pm

EEEEEgads -- I have forgotten to change the little white filter. And it's really grey and I don't have a replacement. Is there anything I can use as a replacement until my new ones get here from cpap.com? (eyeing the ac/heater filter overhead -- nope, that's won't do)

Just wondered because you are all the most ENTERPRISING people I've ever known -- WHO else stands infront of hardware or grocery store shelves and looks at "stuff" and say to themselves "is there anything here I can effectively use to make my xpap/sleep more effective/comfortable?????"

Sooooooooooo when I came up with this question, of course you would be the first to ask. Thought of asking plumber hub, but he's likely to want to take a pipe wrench to the machine or something!!! He's not allowed NEAR that machine. No kidding -- we used to have this Chevy Citation and every time that car hiccupped, my plumber hub changed the water pump. I swear that car would have made the world's record for water pump changes. Now, I just don't allow him near certain equipment.

The white filters are optional, but they do add another layer of filtration. You can run the machine with the black spongy one only.... and that one is washable.
Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.
