First Week Down! Excellent Results!!! S9

Post by Stetson » Mon Nov 22, 2010 8:48 am

I made it through my first week. I cannot believe the difference. I went from a AHI of 13.4 to a 0.7! I no longer want to take naps after work. I found I have energy in the late afternoon. My house has never been so clean! I started eating right because I feel like cooking. This weekend I skipped my blood pressure nedication just to see what the results. My blood pressure was normal. (WOW)
I was a total sceptic but have been made a believer. The next project is the weight. My doctor has me on a month trial but I think I know the answer. I have the S9 elite. Mid-week I read a post about putting it in the nightstand drawer. I put it in there and ran the power cable from the back of the drawer. I open the drawer at night and pull out the mask and turn the unit on and place everything back in the drawer in the morning.
I did have a little problem of pulling the unit off in the middle of the night but after I put the climate line on it I was able to sleep throught he night. I did find out washing the mask every other day with baby shampoo helps maintain a seal.

Me too Stetson....I had a great first week too. Looks like we started around the same time. I feel the same way. If you need a weightloss partner I am working on that now too. Let me know!...My energy level has increased...My only problem is my preexsisting sinus issue acting up again... been sneezing all night and all day...do you know you can't sneeze in a nasal mask...lol!

I have been using my S9 for about a month and, like you both, feel much better. I'm accomplishing more in a day than I used to accomplish in a week simply because I'm not tired all day. I have been very happy with the Diet Center program. I have lost 16 lbs in the last month and my energy level is no longer dependent on an abnormal fat and sugar level.

Glad to hear you are doing so well. I have been using my S9 Autoset now for 3 weeks. I feel a lot better. Though I am still catching up!! I am actually sleeping more, but I feel so much better when I wake up.

Oxygen's a wonderful thing, isn't it? Your results sound great, but a word of caution: Don't overdo it. I did and started hiking up the firebreaks in the hills above my home after work every day. Put a tear in my Achilles tendons, both Port and Starboard hind legs, and now have a couple of big painful knobs to remind me I'm no longer 30.

[edit: Or 50, for that matter]

Darn!

Thank you, everyone for the encouraging remarks. I'm getting excited about this. I'm learning more and more each day and have even been able to help a few. I don't know what I would do without this site!
