Help!! havent worn apap 1 wk now says no detailed graphs?

Post by elena88 » Tue Nov 02, 2010 11:03 am

Hi there,
I took a break from my apap for a week, and I wore it last night.. the stats are there from last night this morning,
but when I clicked on detailed graphs, it said " no detailed graphs available"

what happened? the summary stats work, everything works, but there are no detailed graphs?

I really wanted to see those because I wore my oximeter and wanted to match the graphs up, damn it!

So anybody know what happened?

Is this a machine problem, a software problem???? or a downloading problem, can I click on something?

I did unplug it last night and moved it, then I plugged it back in and went to bed. It seemed to work fine last night..
I have unplugged it many times and moved it and this never happened..

Elena, I'm 2 weeks new at this and have the same machine - mine says "no detailed graphs" also and would like an answer - will be watching this thread with interest.

Thanks for posting the question.

Cheers,
Xena

I don't have a ResMed, but I seem to recall other posts that say it doesn't record until noon in case you end up going back to sleep. So check it after lunch.

I've been checking mine every couple of days, and it seems like the 'detailed graphs' isn't turned on and I have no clue how to do it.

When this happened to me I found that the SD card was not in the machine properly. The machine was only able to record compliance and no other data. Hope this helps...

elena,

You've had detailed graph information available in the past, right?

First thing to check is the settings for downloads inside ResScan itself. Make sure that you are downloading "All Data" and not just "Summary Data". The default setting is for ResScan to just download the "Summary Data." So check the download settings in ResScan again.

Next, I'd first suggest making sure the SD card was securely in the machine at the beginning of the night. The summary stuff is stored on board and will be written to an SD card when it is inserted. But my understanding is that the detailed data is written directly to the SD card.

And another thing to check is to make sure the "write" lock on the card has not been accidentally moved from the unlocked position to the locked position.

xena,

Have you ever been able to get detailed graph information? If you know Sleep Quality is set to ON, and you've never gotten detailed graphs inside of ResScan, but you've gotten the summary data, then my guess is that you were downloading data using the default "Download Summary Data" instead of the "Download All Data" choice. Go into ResScan and try to download the data again, but pay careful attention to the options presented before you hit "Download now". There is a way of resetting your default download choice to always download all the data, but I don't have the computer where I do this in front of me. It is in the documentation that Uncle_Bob provides in the links in his signature.

hapy,

Is your S9's Sleep Quality set to ON or USAGE? If Sleep Quality is set to USAGE, your machine will only record compliance data as I recall.

I have no idea if Sleep Quality is set to ON. Have never been able to get detailed graphs, but when I tried to Download AllData, it was greyed out. I will look for Uncle_Bob's info, which is where I downloaded the Rescan from in the first place.

Thanks, again, robysue.

Hugs,
Xena

Check the clinical manual in Uncle_Bob's info to find out how to set Sleep Quality to ON. If Download AllData was greyed out, it sounds like Sleep Quality may have been turned to Usage instead of On.

Do we have a thread for that titled: how to download your s 9 data? if we dont we should..

I dont really know what Im doing, but I do have the clicks to get me there! I can put those down if anyone wants em...

If you are using ResScan 3.11 or later, you'll find a checkbox at the bottom of the download settings window that makes the current setting the default. You won't have to select detailed data every day.

Did anyone ever figure out the difference between 3.10 and 3.11? Is it worth downloading 3.11 instead of the 3.10 that I already have?
