Hi there - new here and a question on F&P software..

Post by Donkey » Mon Nov 01, 2010 8:49 pm

Hi guys

Long time lurker here from DownUnder. Finally got my own machine so thought it was time I signed up.

I got put on a CPAP trial 6 weeks ago after my sleep study showed I had severe apnea with an AHI of 57. Have managed to get that down to around 0.9 and am feeling FANTASTIC!!

Anyway, the courier just delivered my very own F&P HC254 APAP and I'm VERY disapointed as it has no operating manual (have found it on the net) and no software (even though the sales guys said it was included - which they now deny). I've since found out that it's the Performance Maximizer software and they want another 90 freakin dollars for it. After I payed $2000 for the machine!!

And another rant - why is it $2K in Australia (it's made in NZ) and only around $500 in USA? What a rip off.

Anyway, rant over, just wondering if any kind soul knows where I can find a...ummm..."trial version" of the software? Been searching Google for hours. Thanks heaps in advance and look forward to seeing you around the forums

Bump.

I'm not familiar with F&P software, but I know others in the forum can help.

As to the price, it is partially due to the difference in number of people compared to the effort needed to go through regulartory groups.

Glad you are doing well with your therapy. Hope it continues to proceed well.
