Fellow cpaper,
Anyone with a pressure of 12cm use EPR on resmed machines get a better ahi with a full face mask compared to not using EPR with a ffm? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I use the mirage liberty ffm and my leak rate is always within the accpectable leak rate according to resmed. Thanks for your time and help. Look forward to hearing from my fellow cpapers. Thabka agin.

Sincerely,
Chad

I use nasal pillows with a pressure of 12 and use EPR. I understand that the EPR just decreases the resistance to exhale making it more comfortable. Have you noticed a difference with or without?

Fellow cpapers,
When I have used EPR in the past it seemed like it affected my treatment. I know it shouldn't affecyt my ttreatment but when I use the EPR it seem like my ahi goes really high. Wheb I don't use EPR, it seem like my ahi is still high even when my leak rates have been accpectable. Sometimes I get my ahi below 5 where I would like it to be and other times its high. Not sure what's going on. Any ideas? What EPR setting do you use with you 12cm pressure? Look forward to hopefully get some help pn this topc.

Sincerely,
Chad

My AHI also rises when I use EPR. Because the I do not have a problem sleeping with the CPAP, I have set my EPR to only be on during my ramp time. Even then, I only have it set at 1.
