Looking for a Rescan Smart Card

Post by LSAT » Fri Oct 08, 2010 2:26 pm

I purchased a S8 Autoset II on Craigslist, but, it didn't come with a Smart Card. Many people have upgraded to the S9 from the S8...Does anyone have a Smart Card to sell??? Please PM me.

If you have a DME or sleep doctor that reads the cards, they may well have a supply. Some even give them away. My the techs at my doctor's office replaced a card they thought was defective (I think that they didn't know what they were doing) without blinking an eye.

If not, I can direct you to a foreign site, but the cards are pricey there. And there's shipping to boot.

I am using smart card but I am not planning to sell it. Know why? Because smart cards are convenient to carry and easy to use. They assure protection of data stored on them and offer user authentication facilities.

You might try calling:

1. ResMed directly re Rescan Card
2. DME to get one for you
3. Every once in a while it pops up on eBay

Good luck
