Please please help me
I simply do not have money for this software but I really wish I did. I was wondering to see if any of you know a website that will let me try this software for a shirt period of time. Pretty much a timed software. I'm sure you've seen those antivirus softwares and pretty much any expensive software let's you try it out before you make a full purchase. Is there a way I can obtain this software to try. Or really any way?

We can't help if we don't know what machine you are using. Put your equipment in your profile. Use text and not the pics.

I looked around and I need the Encoreviewer software.
I have a respironics system on with humidifier PR bipap auto with bi-flex
When I searched it told me I needed the encore viewer 2.0 software. But that is extremely expensive for me. I am already very deep in student loans...

Hi, you are obviously stressed about something in your treatment and want the software to tell you about it, but maybe someone here can help. It would be easier if you explain what's going on and what you hope the software will tell you. We all come here with our OSA/Cpap problems (and some that have nothing to do with those ) and a lot of the people are quite expert at dealing with a lot of the aspects of it all. So give us a try and cross your fingers!
Re: Please please help me
We tried to go through that in his previous posts (different thread).sleepycarol wrote:We can't help if we don't know what machine you are using. Put your equipment in your profile. Use text and not the pics.

Re: Please please help me
Where are you? You could at least put that much information (and your equipment) in your profile.
The "freebie" you're looking for (free trial download) doesn't exist. Also, depending on what operating system you're using on your computer may present some issues, too. With Windows XP or Win 7 you will probably be OK.

You're at a med school. Talk to someone in the respiratory department. The AHI you have is not that high as anything below 5 is considered healthy.
Re: Please please help me
I would like to try and help you... but you can do something without the software if you think you are mouth leaking..
borrow some tape and tape your mouth shut, cut a quarter inch slit in the very center of the tape like this big ____
that way you can cough or burp and it wont come loose..
I used tape before I could view my software, so can you.. your ahi is low right now, if you feel tired when you wake up, it might be something
else besides mouth breathing.. but if its that.. tape it now... see if you feel better.
do you know if your apnea is positional? sleeping on your side or tummy may help..
if you write down every one of your symptoms right now, you can probably get some help here for now before you get the software..
In any case, get the tape, and if you want the best tape, here it is on amazon..

Re: Please please help me
Thanks a lot for the help. I sure will try that. I feel good in the day but I still feel there is room for improvement. How can I active that if it's not mouth breathing? How can I get better ahi. Mine is 2.8
What can I do to feel more energized?

Re: Please please help me
If you tape your mouth, seeing your graphs or not, its going to stop air leaking from your mouth..
so do try that..
your ahi can vary depending on how tired you are, and what position you are sleeping..
I imagine you are studying very hard, and are under a lot of stress... this could also cause your ahi to rise if you are exhausted when
you go to sleep....
I know its hard to get the proper rest, but the basics you need to pay attention to while you are so busy..
eating well is exceptionally important too..
If you can, do try the tape, and sleep on your side. use a pillow beteen your legs, and one under your arm and a very soft shallow one for under
your head.. if you can be more comfortable, you likely to get better sleep too.. Use your hand that is on the outside of your body to press
an indentation into your pillow to keep your mask from leaking.. use your hand flat, or make a fist under your chin and set it inside the pillow to
protect your mask.. practicing these things will help your leaks, and your sleep.. soon you will do it naturally.. you can train yourself..
You dont have to wear the tape forever either, your body will start naturally keeping your mouth closed.. but till then keep taping.. until some night
you forget to tape, and you wake up with a perfectly moist mouth.. by the way, is your mouth dry upon awakening? that is a sign of leaking thru
the mouth..
let us know how it goes.. sometimes its the little things that make the biggest difference..

Hi Starone,
I wonder why you seem so reluctant to fill in your profile. Please go up to the User Control Panel and then to Profile.....select Edit Equipment and then choose your machine, mask, and humidifier from the pull down menus. Then choose to show these in Text, not pictures. The reason for doing this is so each time you need information or help, your equipment will show up at the bottom of your posts, in blue, as mine do below. With all the different kinds of equipment out there, it will allow those who have the same machine or mask as you to help you. We should not have to ask repeatedly for the same information when it is so easy to show it in your posts.
Your AHI of 2.8 is actually very good. Anything under 5 is considered good. That said, getting it down to 1 or 1.5 may bring you more rest. To do this, without software, you will need to provide us with more information so we can help you. For example... you are using an auto bipap with flex... can you tell us what your pressure range is? This could be tweaked a bit with knowledge on how to do that. Do you have the clinician's manual for your machine...the one that gets you 'under the hood' to make adjustments? If not, you can get it from this site: http://www.apneaboard.com/CPAP%20Adjustment.htm Your machine is in the list at the very bottom of the page so you will need to email the site admin to ask for the download link.
I think the suggestion to talk to someone in the respiratory dept of your medical school's affiliate hospital for help is excellent. Most have sleep centers and will have the software to read patient data cards. Maybe one of your physician instructors can help you make contact with a sleep doctor who can assist in reading it. Network and use your connections!!
Elena's suggestions are a good place to begin..... please let us know how you are doing. We are here to help....

Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.
