SPO7500 Vitabase/Vitasocre Software Manual
SPO7500 Vitabase/Vitasocre Software Manual
I recently ordered an SPO7500 pulse oximeter which uses Vitabase/Vitascore software. Unfortunately the monitor does not have a software manual, only a couple screenshots of information screens. Does anyone have a manual for Vitabase/Vitascore? It is elegant looking but pretty useless software without being able to know specific values or how to navigate the software.
Re: SPO7500 Vitabase/Vitasocre Software Manual
Press F1 on either Vitabase or Vitascore to get the manual. It's not much, but it's enough to figure stuff out.
If there is something in particular you wish to know about it, if you posted your question people who have that oximeter might be able to help.

You can eihther run Vitascore on its own and select a study to view from the "File" menu, or else with VitaBase open, a double click on the study will open it in Vitascore. When a VitaScore has a study open, you can't change the VitaBase view of it's summary - which makes sense, since the full version VitaScore lets you edit the study, thereby changing the summary. The VitaScore that comes with the SPO 7500, however, is limited and doesn't let you edit.
I didn't mind clicking around to find to options... but then, I liked Myst too....

Re: SPO7500 Vitabase/Vitasocre Software Manual
Thanks for the responses. I have all the documentation on the install CD and F1. For those who don't have the software the "manuals" consist of 2 screenshots that have been annotated--calling it very poor documentation is to be kind. I was hoping that someone would have a true manual which would give some basic navigation instruction as well as going into some detail on the drill down capabilities.
If anyone caught my earlier post that got deleted by me, that was a mistake. That was intended as a draft to give me space to vent my frustration with the poor documentation, which I'd later edit for anything meaningful and then post. Instead of saving it as a draft, I posted it by mistake.
For anyone interested in this monitor, the software looks real good, but unless you have the time to hunt around like in the game Myst and stumble into what is there, this might not be the software for you. As for me I wanted to simply find out my given SpO2 levels at a given time and see how that correlates with the pulse data over time. And I don't have lot of time to be hunting around right now. This monitor may be going back as the pulse data is also unreliable for me, as was the CMS 50F due to my heart rate variability.

Re: SPO7500 Vitabase/Vitasocre Software Manual
You get a condensed graph of that in the "PulseOX Basic" page in Vitabase. Vitascore will give you more detail. Find the recording you are interested in and right-click it to get a context menu. Select "Launch Vitascore" in the menu, and that will bring up Vitascore for that recording.ldj325 wrote:As for me I wanted to simply find out my given SpO2 levels at a given time and see how that correlates with the pulse data over time.
Up at the top of the Vitascore window, on the tool bar, are some arrow icons. They should be self-explanatory, but you can hover over any tool in the tool-bar for hoover help.
Use the arrow icons to get to the time of the recording that you are interested in. The time is written on the bottom of the screen. The top half of the screen is, by default, another condensed graph to help you see the big picture. The section shown in the bottom is highlighted in the top half.
For specific values of pulse and SpO2, you can pretty much read them right off of the graph.
I have not found the raw data in an easily accessible form, though I imagine if you export the data and look at it with the edf browser you might be able to see them.
