Easylife Mask

Its been a while since I have posted have had lack of internet problems got my new mask and chose the respironics easylife when I went to get fitted it was amazing I never felt such a comfortable mask, when the pressure is turned on it just hugs your face, straps dont even need to be that snug, its going to be my first night using it so I will let you know in the morning how it is.

I agree a fantastic mask been using mine for one week been on cpap 10 years best mask I have tried very quiet and comfortable

I am new to this forum and first-time CPAP, all of 10 days into it. This is the only mask I've had so my sample size of experience is statistically invalid !

The mask is comfortable but I have two "complaints" or questions.

I find it somewhat noisy when inhaling. I think at this time the machine is pumping more air in but I suspect there is turbulence in the mask that is making noise. Anyone else have any experience with noise? What is normal? Ideally, I would not want any extra noise aside from the normal air flow noise.

Also, the mask seals good with low pressure when lying on my back, but if I shift to either side then the seal gets lost and I have to tighten the headgear. The "sweet spot" seems to be within a very small range, and trying to find it in the middle of the night is not the best time.

I'm thinking of switching masks, and I know this is not unusual for a first-timer. My next choice (which I had during the sleep study) is ComfortGel Blue. How will this compare, noise, comfort and stability-wise?

I also found the Easylife to be kind of noisy. I found the comfortgel to be quieter and very comfortable. That said, my absolute favorite is the Swift FX with nasal pillows.
