RDI - AHI and related acronyms??

Post by Shack » Fri Sep 17, 2010 10:52 pm

Hi all,

Looking through my sleep study and trying to make sense of the numbers.

My RDI (Respiratory Distress Index) during the baseline session was 50, does this also translate to AHI, or does it include snoring?

My RDI after CPAP applied at a pressure of nine was 2.

Thanks for the help.

James

It's Respiratory Disturbance Index. And yes, it includes AHI and sometimes snoring, anything that can disturb your sleep.
