Will accessing the S9 card with Resscan 3.11 erase the data?

Post by sven_one » Wed Sep 08, 2010 1:09 pm

Hi all! I'm new to CPAP therapy and am excited to start using my machine tonight (first night). I have an S9 Elite with H5i and Climateline and nasal pillows. Since my insurance is paying for part of the S9 I might have to submit the data card to verify compliance, but I'm not 100% sure on that yet. My question is this: if I open the card on my computer using Resscan 3.11 will it automatically erase or change the data on the card? If I have to submit it I don't want anyting to be screwed up with insurance. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

The data does not get erase on the card.

The only data on the card that has expiration date on it is the High Resolution data. The card only keeps 7 days of that type of data.

You insurance company is only interested in the compliance data.

If you do have to send your card in insist on getting it returned.

I check my data about 3 times a week and the card is definitely a nice feature.

If they are bone heads any 2 GB SD card will work, but if you paid for card X with the machine, I would insist on getting card X returned.

Hope you enjoy the machine.
