OT: Happy Dance...Happy Dance~~

Post by Hospiceangel » Thu Sep 02, 2010 12:23 pm

Hi,
I know some of you are aware that I was laid off last month which has created a LOT of stress in my life.
Just wanted you to know that I have a job interview with the VA in Cheyenne, WY Tomorrow at 11:15am for 5 nurse case manager postitions that are open.
Please, I am asking for prayers, good wishes, good "juju", fingers crossed, good luck and any other positive energy that you all can create that the interview will go smoothly and I will be able to get one of these jobs. Working with veterans is something I have wanted to do since I got out of nursing school.
Thanks in advance for all the support.
Hugs,
Shar:)
It may be a couple of weeks before I'll know for sure~~~you know how "quickly" the Gov't works!!! Thanks to all the Veterans who have sacrificed so much for all of us.

Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.

Good vibes coming your way! Can you give me a geography lesson? How far is Greeley Co from Cheyenne WY? All my jobs were close to home.

Dori,
It's a good hour away. There is a VA clinic in Ft. Collins about 40 minutes away. There's also a big clinic in Denver which is about an hour the other direction. We have a clinic in Greeley that I might be able to transfer to but when an opening is there they usually fill it internally. I can handle the commute cause I used to live in Los Angeles.

I too have been recently laid off my job. My prayers go out to you and hope that this will be the lucky charm.
